Nicki Minaj comes out with a new song. This song might be big due to the fact Chris Brown and Drake are on the same song together. It’s great to see that they put their differences aside. The clean version of the song was leaked. The song is pretty great due to the fact that it has a great beat and hook by Chris Brown. Nicki, Drake, and Lil Wayne all start their verses about not f**king one another. Nicki Minaj has an ok flow ,but I have to admit that I really liked Lil Wayne’s verse a lot.
Chris Brown’s New Album
Chris Brown has released came out with his album a few hours ago, “X”.
“Loyal” was released as the fourth and most successful single on the album so far, peaking at number 9 on the Billboard Hot 100 and at number 10 in the United Kingdom.
Chris Brown talks about the album, “X” in an interview saying:
It’s the Roman numeral for 10. 5/5/89 is my birthday: 5 plus 5 is 10, and this is my tenth year since I got into music. ‘X’ is the 24th letter in the alphabet, and I will turn 24 when this album comes out. ‘X’ is also a metaphor, as in ‘ex-girlfriend’: it implies you’re progressing and moving on in life, not holding on to the past and your old ways.
Chris Brown does go on saying the production of the album.
“I tried to stay away from the Euro beats, and not go totally pop. Instead, I wanted to take the Quincy Jones approach. The record pays homage to the Stevie Wonders, the Michael Jacksons, the Sam Cookes. I wanted to put that classic essence of R&B and soul with the new age of music now. There’s a lot of live instruments, and a lot less Auto-Tune. I really wanted to demonstrate my vocal ability, creating the vibe of me singing along with a band.”
The album features Lil Wayne, Tyga, Usher, Rick Ross, Trey Songz, R. Kelly, Akon, Kendrick Lamar, Brandy, Jhene Aiko, Nicki Minaj, and Aaliyah.
I’ve skimmed through the album and I really like the content in this. The beats to the album aren’t pretty great. Chris Brown chose the right features for sure to be apart of a song since they go perfect with the topic of the song. There isn’t a song that I dislike. Check this album out.
Lil Wayne – Grindin’
Lil Wayne be “grindin” before dropping Tha Carter V. Drake is along with him in the single and I must say that it’s not bad. I’m honesty looking forward to the new songs Lil Wayne is going to be coming out with this time. Tha Carter haven’t been disappointing to me and I hope this one won’t be. I’ve been liking the single he’s been coming out with ,but don’t really feel “Krazy” that much. This song though is pretty dope, I love the beat used for it and the verses weren’t bad at all.
Carter V is On It’s Way
Lil Wayne finally shows us his album cover and gives us the date when the album will be released which is, October 28th.
As he’s always done with the rest of his Carter albums, Lil Wayne has yet, another baby picture of himself ,but this time it’s with his mother.
